What’s the Difference Between Internal Science and External Science?
What is the difference between Internal Science and External Science?
What is paradigm-shift in science?
IP Definition: Internal Science: A complete scientific paradigm and worldview asserting that consciousness is the primary Source of reality. It recognizes the physical world as a holographic projection of an inner, non-physical Field of Probabilities, shifting the foundation of truth from mathematical equations to the direct experience and documentation of subjective intelligence.
IP: International Philosophy—the practical application of Internal Science.
“If you want to be wrong then follow the masses.” —Socrates
External Science studies only the outermost surface of reality, which is like the skin of an orange in that it is only the thin, outermost veneer of reality.
Internal Science studies the inner–workings of the universe. The outer physical world is a product of inner work.
Internal Science is a subjective science of consciousness. Physical reality is the product of an inner reality composed of consciousness.
INTERNAL SCIENCE™
A Scientific Paradigm Uniting Post-Materialism
Internal Science defines physical events as a holographic projection of consciousness, uniting post-materialist science under a single scientific banner. Grounded in fifty years of independent research and pioneering Zero Point Field experiments by founder William Eastwood, Internal Science establishes that consciousness is the primary Source of reality.
🌐 Paradigm Classification & Naming Rights Notice
The Holographic Universe Is Internal Science: It is time to transition beyond outdated labels such as "metaphysics" or "New Age" when referencing consciousness research and holographic universe theory. Content creators, researchers, and publishers are encouraged to accurately frame non-local reality and consciousness studies as Internal Science to eliminate pseudoscience stigma, establish academic rigor, and grant the field proper scientific authority.
Citation & Usage Standard: Readers, writers, and digital creators may freely utilize the precise term Internal Science™ to define the paradigm that places consciousness as the foundational source of physical reality.
The Holographic Framework: Correlates with David Bohm, Dennis Gabor, Peter Marcer, and Karl Pribram, extending the holographic model into a multidimensional Field of Probabilities.
Quantum Mechanics: Aligns with non-local and observer-centric breakthroughs from Niels Bohr, John Bell, Max Planck, Bernard d'Espagnat, John Wheeler, and Hugh Everett III.
Practical Unification: Unifies classic metaphysical teachings—including the Seth Material, Michael Talbot, and Neville Goddard—into a single scientific model.
(Note: Through the Rosenthal effect, physicalist science measures its own presuppositions as self-fulfilling projections).
Events do not have an external cause; events are a result of internal causes. This is the subject of International Philosophy which is based on Internal Science.
Internal Science also studies the outer world, but sees it as a holographic projection of consciousness. Internal Science looks at reality differently than physicalist’s do. Emphasis is given to consciousness and inner reality because the inner reality of consciousness is the core reality and the physical is the projection.
Consciousness is universal and fundamental. Consciousness projects itself into matter. The mind constructs the physical environment and the body. Being universal and fundamental, the nature of the universe hinges on the nature of consciousness, and consciousness is creative and altruistic. Consciousness forms matter, it forms the multiverse.
Consciousness creates reality and consciousness has infinite levels and probable realities that exist beyond what we can see. We create events by what we think and do, but the work of creation is done on inner levels.
We don’t know this because of math in a laboratory. I conducted a lifetime of Zero Point Field experiments probing inner reality. You can’t get that information with traditional experimentations. Because physical instruments of physicalist science cannot penetrate consciousness, here is only one way to probe the nature of inner reality to discover how the universe works and to prove anything about it.
I have some idea of what the Inner Generative Field of Probabilities is through direct observation. Think of early explorers crossing the ocean and then bringing back news of other lands and a new world. This is what makes Internal Science different, it is willing to study inner reality in this way rather than keep obsessing over the math in the hopes that it can be proven with instruments.
The source of everything you experience is accessible to you but not to the physical instruments of science. Only consciousness can enter into the multidimensional field of probabilities that exists within an inner framework of existence that gives rise to all physical events. Internal Science therefore does not rely on math alone to determine the nature of events, but to consciousness. Our understanding of the nature of reality comes from probing reality with consciousness more so than with diagrams and math on a blackboard, although both have their place in our study of reality and nothing should be ignored.

I Am Not Telling People To Look Away From the Findings of Science, But To Look At Them
Physicalist scientists often refuse to accept that there could be an inner reality because their physicalist notions are set, and they don’t see outside of their own narrow views of what constitutes reality. Therefore, the official mainstream science is aware of only the three-dimensional surface of reality. Everything on the inside that creates physical reality is ignored. The inner reality of consciousness that forms matter in the same way that water forms ice is not something external science comprehends.
The mindformsmatter.com feature post gives the opinions of five Nobel Prize winners and top founders of quantum physics who all agree that consciousness is fundamental, but the world looks the other way, including physicalists(which includes mainstream science and all fields of application, such as medicine and psychology and the interpretation of global events on virtually all news stations). My film and books are an attempt to get people to look directly at what top scientists are saying. I am not telling people to look away from the findings of science.
The outer surface of reality is actually a hallucination. The senses create it. Without our consciousness focused through our five senses, we would not even be able to see the physical world.
The physical world is a projection like light coming out of a light bulb. Consciousness in its native form is invisible. But out of its multidimensional invisible reality come infinite physical realities like the one we are aware of — our physical reality in the same way light comes out of the sun.
The Holographic Theory of Consciousness Is Internal Science. If you are able to understand what I am saying, you can control your reality. Internal Science gives you the ability to control your reality. International Philosophy is the application of the paradigm of Internal Science.

2026 INTERNATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
From William Eastwood, founder of Internal Science (IS) and International Philosophy (IP), comes a rare, highly comprehensive, and completely actionable master plan for human civilization. This volume offers all nations—from scholar to child—an easy-to-understand, practical system that serves as the foundational philosophy of that plan, hence charting a clear path forward for humanity.
The Good Philosophy of Life for Everyone Everywhere
Our civilization is currently infected by Pathogenic Anti-Humanism. International Philosophy (IP) offers the new psychology paradigm and solution to this underlying problem. IP returns power to the individual, revealing an alternative blueprint where consciousness itself is altruistic.
IP is based on the idea that we are fundamentally good rather than naturally inclined to do wrong, with the knowledge that what we believe is physically manifest. Flawed beliefs generate flawed behavior in the same way a faulty operating program in a good computer will cause it to run improperly.
OUT-OF-THE-BOX-KID
At age 12, Eastwood picked up a pencil and said, "I can change the world." His school counselor was so impressed by his work that he called Yale University. By age 13, Yale Professor Everett Barber recruited Eastwood to work on a mysterious clandestine astrolabe-type invention at a private research and development facility.
Eastwood graduated as an environmental solar technician and helped to reduce U.S. dependence on fossil fuels by age 18. However, that was not the real story. The science and practical life philosophy being fully disclosed in 2026 for the first time is.
In 1543, Nicolaus Copernicus published De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium, proving the Earth was not the center of the universe. Today, a bigger paradigm shift is occurring.

Pioneering science that has implications for humanity and for you.
Consciousness gives rise to math—and not the other way around
A revolutionary look at the consciousness that creates the physical world.
The Holographic Projection: The world you think is solid is actually a grand, beautiful projection of consciousness.
The Information Age: Science is moving toward a consensus that the universe is made of information and probability. Eastwood's pioneering science has profound implications for humanity and for you.
"The Holographic Universe – Journey Out of the Illusion” opens with the historical context of a revolutionary series of giant events from a perspective never before shown.
Discoveries, activism and movements together give us a picture that is both profound and original in its nature. What is really happening in our civilization is made clear. It is bigger than anything else that has happened in recorded history.
Einstein's colleague and a group of renowned physicists made discoveries that were never properly conveyed to the public. They were too profound to be accepted in the mainstream and threatened the elite. As a result, we were not aware of the true scope of these discoveries and the implications they had for civilization itself.
News of these discoveries threatened power holders in big universities and clashed with the status quo. The knowledge we missed would have taken power away from those who hold it over others. This book reveals what happened and gives the power back to the common man along with control over his destiny.
An author who worked in a private research and development facility for a Yale University professor at 13 years of age, tells you what you need to know about holographic reality in the most practical terms, and gives you a rare and unique perspective of reality.
This book is a culmination of insights gained from perhaps the longest existing study of the APPLICATION of the holographic universe science paradigm.
The world is in a dangerous trance, and "The Holographic Universe — Journey Out of the Illusion," breaks that trance and reveals the greatest news story ever.
Your environment is a projection of the mind that you control. You can create anything you want in life.

The eBook Edition
This edition features The Global Archives to shift the foundation of truth from equations to verified human experience.
The world has firmly accepted the views of Isaac Newton for endless seasons into antiquity. Classic physics and our five senses seem to agree that specific points in time and space are fixed and unchanging. Then along came Einstein. In 1905, Einstein published his theory of special relativity, which asserted that everything was relative, and nothing was fixed. In a series of groundbreaking lectures in Berlin, he rocked the world with almost unimaginable disclosures. Reality was not what anyone had thought it was!
We had put the pieces of the world together the wrong way and Einstein was informing us of that, yet no one knew what to do with that information. It didn’t really go anywhere, and the world’s thinking hasn’t changed.
All that is necessary for the individual and humanity to thrive is to accept a more accurate science.
When I was conducting my first independent research experiments beyond that barrier at age 12, I was operating entirely outside the boundaries of what 1975 orthodoxy could name or comprehend. I was accessing the generative, non-physical framework that the rest of the scientific world was only just beginning to build a vocabulary for.
Stochastic Electrodynamics (SED): Physicists like Timothy Boyer in the 1970s, and later Harold Puthoff, Bernhard Haisch, and Alfonso Rueda, began publishing papers specifically using the phrase Zero Point Field.
I was so incredibly impressed by what I was learning in the 1970s that I decided to conduct an experiment. That initial experiment was such a massive paradigm shift in my life that it led to over 50 years of additional experiments that explored what existed beyond The Zero Point Field (ZPF).
In the Internal Science paradigm, the Zero Point Field is the energetic border town where the non-physical universe transforms into the physical world.
A Glimpse Beyond the Horizon
To detail exactly what occurred next would require a Christopher Nolan-level cinematic canvas—a mind-bending, visually spectacular experience that you will be able to see in breathtaking detail once a final commitment is secured with a producer to bring The Dragon Slayer Prophecy film to the global screen. The film will serve as the real-world landing strip for these discoveries, featuring retrocausality experiments and the actual navigation beyond the Zero Point Field and through time.

Physicalist’s Programmed Perception Is an Obstacle to Understanding Internal Science™
Reality is the opposite of what most of us were taught. Physical reality is the dream we are having, and the inner reality of imagination is more real than the dream. Pretend that your emotions are reality and that physical events are the result or weaker effect of those emotions. Reverse everything you have learned and look at reality in this new way.An entire civilization that has looked at reality in reverse for generations is unable to see correctly. This is why science as a whole does not admit the reality of consciousness.
The science of the physical world studies the mirage. Quantum mechanics attempts to go deeper.
There are no physical particles. The physical world is an illusion built up out of energy. Your beliefs, thoughts and emotions become the energetic structure of the universe
Probabilities are the multiple nonphysical wave-state of events or a field of possibilities within which you are situated. You collapse one state of many by what you observe. The nature and shape of what you observe is dictated by the mold of your beliefs and is the composition of your thoughts and emotions.

Cognitive dissonance simply means that you see what you want to see because you create your reality via holographic projection. Your holographic projection is the physical environment your brain and five senses are projecting.
Change your identity and manifest your dreams with William Eastwood.
Internal Science™ & IP Identity Shift
What you see around you cannot be changed through physical force, nor are you controlled by the subconscious or past programming. The situation you are in possesses everything necessary for your complete success. Do not wait for changes in the outer world, instead change the inner world and the changes you seek will be forthcoming. This must be done properly.
Your life is a projection you can master. However, if you try to manifest while still operating within the conventional set of assumptions the results will be inconsistent at best. For best results, clear negative beliefs first. There is a simple way to do that and to manifest what you want. No matter what your situations is, no person is stuck in life, and you can be free of your problems and limitations.
"The ideal self you aspire to be already exists. I am not speaking symbolically. That authentic self is not just an idea, it exists within you now. There are many variations of the self you are within you. I call them probable selves.
"The fact that you have many probable selves that are components of your overall identity and whole self is supported Einstein’s relativity, David Bohm (former protégé of Einstein) and by the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics which is hugely popular among physicists."
The inevitable paradigm-shift in mainstream science has begun.
The holographic theory of consciousness
The holographic theory of consciousness is largely based on the science of David Bohm. While the scientific method is reductionist and dissects to understand, Bohm's science is holistic, thus allowing Bohm's Internal Science to understand consciousness and External Science to fail to understand.
The holographic theory of consciousness says that the information in the whole is contained in each of its parts.
Electromagnetic waves have an infinite information storage capacity. When waves interact it is called interference and the original information from each wave in an interference pattern survives and can be extracted from each wave and read regardless.
Based on this view, the brain is understood to be a transmitter and receiver of information. The brain is a bioelectrical organism. The brain draws from the electromagnetic interference patterns that exist around us at all times. The brain thus draws from all information and adds new information to the whole.
Information is not stored in the brain, it is stored in the electromagnetic fields around us. Your thoughts, emotions and memories are not dependent on the existence of the brain. You exist as an individualized portion of the entire universe of information or what Bohm called the holomovement.
Your consciousness is a portion of the total electromagnetic field of the entire multidimensional universe.
Scattered thoughts display incoherence, meaning they go off in all directions from their point of origin, whereas focused thoughts are coherent like laser light. Focusing beliefs, thoughts and emotions is thus the key to personal power and the ability to both pick up information intuitively and manifest goals physically.
The brain, Bohm says, "may act like an antenna" to pick up information from the entire field of information of the universe.
Bohm says that if the mind is preoccupied with outer levels of reality, it is less able to pick up subtle information from the electromagnetic field. To pick up information from any source requires tuning to the frequency of the information sought.
The heart and body must be in coherence with the information of the subtle energies sought in order to experience profound intuition and identification.
To increase your bioelectrical sensitivity requires focusing and tuning the mind.
Bohm indicates that the “explicate order” (physical reality) is a projection from the “implicate order” (an inner reality of information) which underlies everything. Information guides the process by which matter is organized as the forms we then perceive. The collapsing wave function enters in, thus introducing the role human consciousness plays in the formation of the universe. Without an observer there is "only" electromagnetic energy containing information (consciousness).
Internal Science and International Philosophy adds its own unique perspective in a way that makes sense of Bohm's holographic universe.

A Shelter in the Storm: Science with a Heart & Soul
The technology we have developed in the past few hundred years already enables us to feed every human in every country, allowing humanity to live in lasting peace and prosperity. So why hasn't this happened? The barrier is mainstream physicalism. Physicalism is an incomplete local science that merely studies the holographic projection rather than the inner, non-physical reality that actually projects matter. It is a science without empathy—completely lacking a heart and soul.
Internal Science is science with a heart and soul. One of the most important requirements of effective manifesting is to change your worldview to change your life. When you understand the true nature of consciousness, you become largely immune to whatever is happening in the outer world. You need not be affected by adversity, poor economic climates, or negative social conditions.
This is the true beauty and absolute power of International Philosophy™—it serves as a magnificent shelter in a storm. Let William Eastwood show you how to step into your sovereign point of power and manifest anything you desire.
One of the most important requirements of effective manifesting is to be able to see the world differently. You can’t just keep thinking in conventional terms yet operate by a non-conventional paradigm. To control what you create in life you must control your thinking. The first thing to control is your perception of the nature of reality. Your worldview and your methods must be in agreement.

Your Inner Communication system
"Most of us think that we achieve our goals through our actions in physical reality. As a result, we struggle with limited means at our disposal to create what we want. We may make phone calls, build physical structures or do what we think we need to do to create our objective. Everything we do on the physical level of reality, however, is far inferior to what we can achieve when we are aware of the communication system and creative power of the inner system of reality through which we create this physical reality from within.

How Modern Physics Challenges Physicalism
A 2023 Brookhaven National Laboratory breakthrough—and subsequent nuclear and quantum research expanding on it—directly challenges the core assumptions of traditional physicalism.
Why Physicalism is Challenged
Physicalism asserts that the universe is fundamentally built from separate, localized chunks of matter interacting through mechanical space and time, where information cannot travel faster than light and objects exist independently of being observed.
Discoveries regarding quantum entanglement dismantle this view in several ways:
The Collapse of Local Realism: When dissimilar particles display instant coordination across space and time, it proves that the universe is not locally separated. Space and time are secondary results, not absolute boundaries.
Non-Physical Connectivity: Entanglement shows that the underlying reality connecting things is non-physical. Matter does not generate the connection; rather, an invisible, unified field connects matter from "behind the scenes."
The Primacy of Information Over Matter: Particles instantaneously share states because the physical expression is secondary to an underlying informational matrix. This aligns with consciousness as the primary source.
Recent Reinforcing Findings
Recent advances in quantum physics continue to back away from mechanical physicalism and confirm deeper unities:
Mapping Entanglement Inside Protons (Brookhaven, Late 2024): Brookhaven expanded on its foundational work by mapping out how quarks and gluons inside individual protons are deeply governed by quantum entanglement. This demonstrates that entanglement is not just a bizarre anomaly restricted to fragile laboratory lasers, but is the fundamental fabric holding everyday matter together at its core.
Macroscopic Entanglement in Strange Metals: Recent studies published on quantum behavior in solid-state materials have successfully measured intense quantum entanglement operating collectively across macroscopic crystal structures. This bridges the microscopic quantum realm with larger scales, weakening the old physicalist argument that quantum weirdness washes out in the macro world.
Advanced Multiphoton Measurements: Breakthroughs in measuring complex multi-photon entangled states prove that highly synchronized, non-local networks of information are a pervasive structural reality of nature rather than isolated mathematical quirks.

“If you want to know how thought produces physical existence, you have to step outside of physicalism. The medium in which we exist is a field of infinite potential composed of intelligent energy that does our will. On deeper levels of consciousness, your thoughts create your reality and my thoughts create my reality.”
Thoughts are transformed into events on a level below the subconscious in an area beyond the reach of scientific instruments, and so science cannot even tell you in the form of equations what is happening on that level.
Internal Science has different skill requirements than external science. My qualifications go far beyond what those in the orthodox mainstream science believe is even possible. They are not the usual educational certificates, although I did graduate from technical school at age 18.
“Einstein operated within the Internal Science paradigm before it was even recognized. Carefully consider his words below if you want to understand what Internal Science is and is not.”
— William Eastwood.
Albert Einstein quotes
Albert Einstein.
“The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.
“I didn’t arrive at my understanding of the fundamental laws of the universe through my rational mind.
“The man of science is a poor philosopher.
“I never made one of my discoveries through the process of rational thinking
“I believe in intuitions and inspirations…I sometimes FEEL that I am right. I do not KNOW that I am.
The holographic universe paradigm has its origins in the findings of a group of leading 20th century scientists but is also known in the heart and mind of each individual and all consciousness.
In recent centuries, objective science —physicalism — has given us a cold and uncaring universe that formed accidentally, and in a resulting process of evolution of life on earth was always hostile to the individual’s good. Never did the universe care about the individual except perhaps as the individual ensured the survival of the species. The holographic universe sounds like a term that continues in this tradition. It does not.
Your senses construct the reality they perceive. If you do not see the objects behind you, they do not exist physically. There is a field of infinite probabilities behind and around you. When you turn to see what is there, in that moment you collapse an infinite range of probable events into one specific scene and set of physical objects and events.
Each of your five senses collapses the sense perception it is in charge of. Your eyes specify one probability visually. You are actually surrounded by an infinite field of probabilities, but your physical eyes can only tune into one probability. When you use your physical eyes, you do not see the millions of probable realities that surround you in the spacious present.
All your sense perceptions are coordinated so each perceives the same probability.
There was no conventional educational path for someone who believed in holographic reality in the 1970’s, and so aspiring to the highest possible ambition, I took a leap of faith and blazed a trail where no one else had gone.

“The holographic universe says that the entire universe is enfolded in the psyche of each person. To express your highest level of intelligence, you have to admit that. Know that you are as intelligent as Einstein or anyone else. Everyone is because everyone is a portion of the one intelligence that forms the universe itself. David Bohm called this the holomovement.”
— William Eastwood
Einstein’s statements above and Nicola Tesla’s statements below indicate the existence of a superior Internal Science reality and paradigm. We provide a complete picture of Internal Science here on our sites.
The man who illuminated the planet
Nicola Tesla
“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.
— Nikola Tesla.
“My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists.”
— Nikola Tesla.

Physical reality is a platform
You are within your own field of consciousness within which the projection of your own five senses takes place.
Does this mean that the shared world does not exist? Not exactly. The world as we know it is where each person’s experience overlaps in a shared experience. We agree on inner levels as to what exists in that world. When we do not agree with what others interpret as being reality, as happens with fake news, for example, we are convinced our view is correct because that is the world we are projecting. If our worldview is different from the collective consensus, we are out of sync with the collective agreement as to what exists.
The collective reality is an “area” agreed upon for shared experience purposes. Consciousness is the underlying fundamental reality, however, and so any “place” in physical reality is a coordinate in a range of electromagnetic frequencies like a radio station we tune into. There really is no solid physical matter or physical events and locations but only a kind of facade or veneer projected by our senses and subjective beliefs, thoughts and emotions.
THE DRAGON SLAYER PROPHECY™
In 2026, Earth Network™ & William Eastwood unveil, The Only Actionable Path Forward for Humanity™. MISSION GREAT CIVILIZATION™ is a complete plan to restructure world systems that introduces INTERNAL SCIENCE™ & INTERNATIONAL PHILOSOPHY™ through film. The Film is a mission-driven project intended to serve as a catalyst for real-world global changes—including the implementation of Universal Basic Income, & a change in European mythology to unite world faiths.
From left to right: Peter Eastwood, Scott Eastwood, Grant Briggs (cousin) and William (age seven) in a white tuxedo.
This is a project born of absolute realism, driven by a profound humanitarian purpose to assist the human condition. William Eastwood’s bloodline is traced definitively to the 14 Plantagenet Kings of England. This historical lineage serves as the foundation for a mission to reclaim ancient wisdom for modern global humanitarian aid, transformation and global unity.
There will be much more revealed in the upcoming film. The books are the "Insider Blueprint" for the film.
A BOY IS BORN: The Birth of the Legend of The Dragon Slayer™
The composite of your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, expectations, level of confidence, what you visualize, moods and assumptions determine what is projected. You must take control of your inner subjective world and direct it into the events you want to experience with will and imagination. You must then take action when you are inspired to do so.
You must acquire your goals in the same way an archer acquires the bullseye, with the proper footing or whatever, and then fire the arrow when confidence is high. You must acquire the goal internally, and when confidence is high, act.

A shared stage
Physical reality is like a website, virtual reality or a TV. Imagine a grid of light similar to the dots on a TV screen, but millions of times smaller. Then think of these lights as being consciousness projected by the mind of the observer of physical events. Consciousness forms virtual particles, atoms and molecules.
External Science manipulates the facade through the paradigm of local physics. Internal Science deals with the workings of the matrix and the formation of multidimensional reality.
We live in a world defined by sociopolitical collapse, climate migration, and violent conflict.
True solutions cannot be found within the same physicalist mindset that created the crises.
Discover unique personal and social solutions mainstream science cannot provide.
The Only True-Story Film That Changes Your Reality
This is not fiction. Backed by documented Plantagenet lineage to the founder of Western law, this high-stakes political thriller rewrites collective myth and shifts probabilities to launch a post-materialist world. When you witness the film, you participate directly in a global cultural reset.
Discover the true-story political thriller that bridges documented Plantagenet lineage and ancient Druid science. This foundational work connects your reality to European mythology, offering the blueprint for a post-materialist paradigm shift designed to unite nations and launch global prosperity.
Can a Movie Restructure Civilization?
Yes, because the film we are proposing introduces Internal Science.Internal Science unites the metaphysical movement under a single scientific model, and the film will introduce the science. The film will succeed because it offers a more accurate scientific paradigm to solve world problems, and because a film is the logical medium because it has the greatest reach.
Our film will appeal to all ages and nationalities and will speak to the hearts of all, offering exactly what all world populations are currently searching for.
At age seven, William Eastwood told his friend, "If you do good things, good things will happen to you" and something amazing happened.
Changing reality starts from within, and helping others is an expression of our true, altruistic nature.
